The fishing season is from mid March to mid September. The Camping de la Filature has over 300 metres of river bank on the Sioule in a good open stretch for fly-fishing. The river is nearly 50 metres wide here and easily accessible. Our regular clients fish mainly for trout. The gorges of the Sioule and deeper water begin a few kilometres upriver and go on for over 40 kilometres.
	A full season's permit costs from 62€ to 77€. From June, tourist permits are available, at 30€ for two weeks. Under 16s get lower prices. Several small lakes in the area provide fishing by the day.
