Canoe and kayak hire is available at three or four places for canoeing downriver, with a guide or solo. We can help you choose and will make reservations for you. Half a day's hire costs from about 16€ per person (30€ if you have a guide). Prices include full equipment and transport to the point of departure upriver.
	Two stretches are particularly good: a really pleasant easy 17km section is from Chateauneuf to Menat and takes about 3 hours ; a 15km run from Menat to St Gal through the Chouvigny gorges is more exciting for a second attempt.
